Governance
OutWest is a wholly democratic organisation. Our 300 members are represented by up to 9 officers, with 4 officers in effect holding "executive" positions and are tasked with the day to day running of the organisation and if required, taking ad hoc decisions in case of emergencies. This said, OutWest is bound by its constitution which has been agreed upon by members and can be updated and amended each year at the Annual General Meeting. A working group traditionally forms each autumn to review our constitution and propose amendments if needed to the AGM each November. Our constitution and other documentation can be found on our documentation page.
"Executive" Officers
The four officers in these positions are the two Co-Chairs, the Treasurer and the Secretary. The four are normally in daily contact, represent OutWest and the LGBT Community of West London at other groups and organisations and carry out the administrative work that is required to ensure the smooth running of the organisation.

Officers
The remaining officers support the executive officers in the running of the organisation, and some officers take specialist areas to provide support to our members and to advance the organisation. Like the executive officers, they also represent OutWest and the LGBT Comminuty of West London at conventions, conferences and other meetings.
