OutWest was launched in 2001. Formerly known as the Hounslow Lesbian and Gay Group, it has been since 1987 a regular focus for many lesbians and gay men in West London.

OutWest arranges social events, supports local LGBT residents, and also does some campaigning.

• challenging discrimination and prejudice
• diversity and equality policy work with local councils
• members of police and other consultative groups

• meetings in local LGBT venues
• advice and guidance on LGBT issues
• befriending and scene information
